Privacy Policy

SasaLive (ささっとライブ) · Effective October 3, 2026 · Revised October 14, 2026

NoxelLab ("we") handles the information of users of the streaming app SasaLive (the "Service") as described here.

1. Information we receive and how we use it

The Service has no sign-in.

YouTube streaming

For YouTube streaming you enter your stream key from YouTube Studio. The stream key is stored only in your browser, and is given to the streaming server only while you stream, to send your stream to YouTube. It is neither stored on our servers nor written to logs.

A value derived from your IP address

To allocate streaming slots fairly and prevent abuse, we tell users apart by an irreversible value (an HMAC) derived from the IP address. We do not store the IP address itself. User records are deleted once they are more than 30 days old and no stream records remain.

Stream records

For each stream we record its state, times, protocol and viewer counts. These records are deleted 30 days after the stream's expiry.

To tell browsers apart, a random value is stored in your browser and sent with each new stream, and kept in its record. It is used so that a new stream from the same browser ends that browser's previous stream only.

Video and audio

The video and audio of a stream are relayed to viewers in the streaming server's memory and are not stored.

When you connect a phone's camera, its video and audio go encrypted directly between the phone and the app. Our servers only pass on the information needed to connect, and do not receive the video or audio. To find the direct path, the phone and the app ask the STUN servers of Cloudflare and Google, which see their IP addresses.

Bot protection

When a stream starts, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the request is not automated. For that check, Cloudflare processes information about your device and browser.

2. Information kept only in your browser

Your layout, theme, wallpaper, copies of the files you use as sources and your YouTube stream key are stored in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB) and are not sent to us. Speech recognition and translation for captions run on your device. The layout and the file copies can be deleted from "保持データ" (Kept data) in the app's settings, and the rest by clearing the site's data in your browser. The file made by the export in "保持データ" is also created in your browser and is not sent to us.

3. Sharing and service providers

We do not share the information we receive with third parties, except as required by law. We use the following providers to run the Service:

4. YouTube streaming

If you use YouTube streaming, you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. For how Google handles information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Your choices

You can delete your YouTube stream key from your browser with the clear button next to its field. To request disclosure, correction, suspension of use or deletion of your information, contact us at the address below.

6. Security

Connections are encrypted with HTTPS. We keep neither IP addresses nor keys in our logs.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we will announce it on this page.
